These terms explain the public pilot offer and how we agree installation, support and any paid continuation.
Business and enquiries
The website and pilot offer are provided by Lekha Lift, A-218, Okhla Phase-I, New Delhi 110020, India. Enquiries can be sent through the contact page or to [email protected].
Submitting an enquiry does not activate the app or commit you to a paid plan. We first discuss your requirements and confirm the onboarding scope.
Six-month free pilot
The LekhaLift app, connector setup, product training and product support are free for the first six months. We confirm the start date, company scope and any usage arrangements during onboarding.
You provide your own Tally licence and Claude API account. You pay those providers’ charges separately. TDL customisations and OpenTally tools are scoped and quoted separately from the LekhaLift app pilot.
Compatibility and installation
We check your Tally release, company setup and permissions before activation. Compatibility depends on the installed release and the selected add-on. Begin in a test company and keep appropriate backups before using live accounting records.
The connector exchanges XML with Tally on a restricted local port 9000. Keep that port off the public internet and agree the required user permissions during setup.
Human review and approvals
Review extracted fields, ledger suggestions, GST treatment and voucher details before approving a posting. AI suggestions can require corrections. You remain responsible for the accounting entries and statutory decisions you approve.
Bank and GSTR-2B differences need review. Check answers against your books. A CA must review notice-reply drafts, supporting records and applicable requirements before a reply is used or submitted.
Your records and API account
Use records you are authorised to process and ensure appropriate client permission. The installed app calls Claude directly through your API account; Anthropic’s API terms and usage policies apply.
Do not send API keys through the website form or email. Agree written data-handling arrangements before using client records. See the privacy notice for the website enquiry flow.
Support and paid continuation
Setup, training and troubleshooting are included in the LekhaLift pilot. We agree support availability and the schedule during onboarding; this page does not promise round-the-clock support or a fixed response time.
Any paid continuation after the pilot is agreed separately. There is no automatic paid conversion. If you want to stop, contact us to discuss removal of the connector and local documents, logs and API-key settings.
Demonstrations and product names
The website sample walkthrough uses illustrative data. It does not call Claude or post to Tally. Request an installed-app demonstration to see the actual workflow.
LekhaLift is an independent add-on. Tally and Claude names belong to their respective owners.
